A love of woodworking and guitar playing led Dale Murray to decide to learn to make stringed instruments. In 2016 he attended Customs Vibrations School of Lutherie, in South Carolina, where he was trained in the building and repair of Guitars. Since then Dale has built a number of instruments, including several commissions. His repertoire includes steel-string, classical, electric, and carved archtop jazz guitars, ukuleles, and mandolins. He is a member of the Fredericton Seniors Woodworking Shop and have taught other members to build guitars. Dale is passionate about building instruments and passing on this knowledge.
