Whether you're interested in half-day workshops or multi-week courses, there's something for everyone! Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, we offer hands-on experiences in a variety of subjects, all taught in either the beautiful studios at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD) or one of our partnering locations.

Dive into the vibrant world of gouache in this one-day, hands-on workshop that unlocks the essentials of color theory and the art of color matching! Designed for both beginners and experienced artists, this course will guide you through the fundamentals of mixing and matching colors to recreate photo references with confidence and creativity.
In the morning, we’ll familiarize ourselves with the properties of gouache paint, learning techniques to create vibrant, versatile color palettes. In the evening, you’ll put all your color-matching skills to the test by choosing a reference photo and creating a gouache painting that captures its full range of colors. Leave with a new understanding of color and the skills to bring your favorite images to life in paint!
TICKET PRICING & MATERIAL COST:
Regular ticket price (December 11, 12 pm): $119 + taxes (HST)

Additional material fee: $30 paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop.

THE INSTRUCTOR:
Emily Clancy is an artist and graphic designer who loves to paint and explore different mediums as gouache and acrylic paint. Emily is a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft & Designs graphics diploma and enjoys figure drawing, painting, illustrating and connecting with people who enjoy art as much as she does.

FAQ
Refunds
If a request for a refund is submitted at least 14 days before the course begins, you will be eligible for a 94% refund. A 6% deduction will cover the administration costs and stripe service fee. For refund requests made between 8 and 13 days before the course begins, a 75% refund will be granted. If a refund request is received within 7 days or less before the course start date, a refund will not be issued unless we can fill your spot with another participant. In the event that a participant cannot attend an in-person course due to illness, they can receive a Honeybee voucher for 75% of the value of their course that can be paid towards another class in the future. The participant will need to notify the Honeybee Coordinator before the course begins.
Cancellations
If a workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the instructor facilities or low enrolment, a 100% refund will be granted to registered participants. If class is cancelled due to weather, the course will be moved to the following weekend (unless otherwise specified). If you cannot attend the new scheduled time, you will be granted a 100% refund.
