Intermediate Pattern Drafting – Nicole Daigle

5-DAY COURSE, Monday to Friday – July 20 to 24, 2026 | 9 am – 4 pm
This intermediate pattern course is designed for those who have completed Intro to Pattern Drafting, have basic bodice and pant blocks, and are ready to explore how to modify and transform them into new designs.
Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll learn how to turn your basic blocks created in the Intro to Pattern Drafting course into unique designs. Throughout the week we will explore more advanced drafting techniques as each student transforms their basic block into a design of their choosing. You will learn new, more advanced pattern manipulations and drafts such as slash and spread, how to move shaping around the body with style lines, and how to create facings, collars and more!
By the end of the course, you’ll have created a custom pattern made to your measurements that has been tested and is ready for garment construction.
