Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, we offer hands-on experiences in a variety of subjects, all taught in either the beautiful studios at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD) or one of our partnering locations.
Intro to Needle Felting – Nicolette Langley

HALF-DAY WORKSHOP – October 10, 2026 | 9 am – 12 pm
Discover the creative possibilities of needle felting in this beginner-friendly workshop! Participants will be introduced to the essential tools and materials used in needle felting, including different types of felting needles, wool, and complementary textiles.
Through guided, hands-on instruction, you’ll learn the fundamental techniques for sculpting and shaping wool into three-dimensional creations. As you build your skills, you’ll gain the confidence to transform simple fibres into unique works of art, decorative wall pieces, and sculptural forms.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a solid foundation in needle felting and your own handmade felted pumpkins to take home.

Additional material fee: $50 to be paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop. The workshop kit includes everything you’ll need to complete your projects, including three felting needles in different gauges, a foam felting pad, two finger protectors (finger cots) for added safety, and all the wool required for the workshop.

THE INSTRUCTOR:
Nicolette Langley is a self-taught fibre artist with over 12 years of experience in needle felting. Passionate about this unique art form, she enjoys introducing people of all skill levels to the creative possibilities of transforming wool into handcrafted works of art.
Her workshops provide a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can build new skills while enjoying the relaxing and rewarding process of needle felting. Nicolette believes creativity is for everyone and is passionate about inspiring others to discover the joy and satisfaction of making something beautiful by hand.
FAQ
Refunds
If a request for a refund is submitted at least 14 days before the course begins, you will be eligible for a 94% refund. A 6% deduction will cover the administration costs and stripe service fee. For refund requests made between 8 and 13 days before the course begins, a 75% refund will be granted. If a refund request is received within 7 days or less before the course start date, a refund will not be issued unless we can fill your spot with another participant. In the event that a participant cannot attend an in-person course due to illness, they can receive a Honeybee voucher for 75% of the value of their course that can be paid towards another class in the future. The participant will need to notify the Honeybee Coordinator before the course begins.
Cancellations
If a workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the instructor facilities or low enrolment, a 100% refund will be granted to registered participants. If class is cancelled due to weather, the course will be moved to the following weekend (unless otherwise specified). If you cannot attend the new scheduled time, you will be granted a 100% refund.
