The ring, a simple, circular form, has been used as a powerful symbol of love, friendship, commitment, membership, and status throughout history. Join metalsmith Mackenzie Russell in this exciting and productive workshop where you will create five vastly different silver rings in five days. Explore a range of professional techniques from forming and soldering to polishing and stone setting. Don’t miss this immersive jewellery making experience! What will your rings symbolize?
TICKET PRICING & MATERIAL COST:
Regular ticket price (April 19 @ 12pm – June 26 @ 11:30pm): $395
Additional material fees: +/- $130 in materials (primarily silver) will be available for purchased at the College Store throughout the course.

THE INSTRUCTOR:
As the Jewellery/Metal Arts Studio technician for NBCCD, Mackenzie keeps things rolling. He orders materials, organizes the studio, and maintains its operations. An armchair philosopher and aspiring alchemist, Mackenzie is inspired by liberal pursuits and the possibility of interpreting conceptual ideas into a visual piece of art.

Refunds
If a request for a refund is submitted at least 14 days before the course begins, you will be eligible for a 94% refund. A 6% deduction will cover the administration costs and stripe service fee. For refund requests made between 8 and 13 days before the course begins, a 75% refund will be granted. If a refund request is received within 7 days or less before the course start date, a refund will not be issued unless we can fill your spot with another participant. In the event that a participant cannot attend an in-person course due to illness, they can receive a Honeybee voucher for 75% of the value of their course that can be paid towards another class in the future. The participant will need to notify the Honeybee Coordinator before the course begins.
Cancellations
If a workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the instructor facilities or low enrolment, a 100% refund will be granted to registered participants. If class is cancelled due to weather, the course will be moved to the following weekend (unless otherwise specified). If you cannot attend the new scheduled time, you will be granted a 100% refund.
