THE INSTRUCTOR:
Cat has nurtured a passion for all textile arts from a young age, but over the last few years her daily art practice has zeroed in on bobbin lace making. She is studying local traditions from all over the world, learning several techniques simultaneously through online classes, creating original artwork, and is very excited to pass on her knowledge. Bobbin lace is on the verge of dying out in New Brunswick and it is Cat’s long-term goal is to reintroduce this craft to the region and build a community of lace makers.
