Pattern Manipulation – Nicole Daigle

2-DAY COURSE – February 28 and March 1, 2026 | 9 am – 4 pm
Join NBCCD Fashion Instructor Nicole Daigle for a practical introduction to pattern manipulation. In this workshop, you’ll learn key techniques such as slash and spread, dart rotation, adding fullness, pleats, and gathers to transform a basic bodice block into new design variations.
Designed for returning students who already have their basic block, this course focuses on hands-on experimentation and guided exercises to help you understand how pattern changes affect style and silhouette.
You’ll leave with a collection of manipulated pattern samples and the skills to apply these techniques to future garments. Perfect for anyone looking to build confidence and expand their pattern-making toolkit.
