THE INSTRUCTOR:

Sheryl Crowley is a mosaicist and multi-media artist and teacher who creates works of art reflecting both the whimsical and darker aspects of the worlds in her and surrounding her. This past summer of 2024 she was the City of Saint John Artist-In-Residence and conducted community workshops in collaboration with Chroma NB producing a mural celebrating the beautiful diversity of living and loving as each of us truly are. She teaches art with both children and adults through workshops, community art events and school residencies encouraging students to explore their sometimes un-tapped creativity. Her work has been exhibited in galleries around New Brunswick, Alberta, Ontario, Ireland and online. In April 2024 she took part in a 4-week residency in Ireland. Coming up, late October 2024, she has been chosen to take part in a 5-day Residency at Fundy National Park through Craft NB. You may find her mural installations at the YMCA of South Western New Brunswick, the Imperial Theatre and the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Ship Terminal, all in Saint John, NB, where Sheryl lives. You may see her artworks, community projects and Frippery art clothing at her website and shop at www.fracturedartmosaics.net .
