November 12, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

$48.00 – $65.00
Image shows inside a wood oven of pizza cooking.

Do you want to learn the art of making oven fired pizza and bread in a wood-fired oven? In this half-day workshop, we will cover the history, ethics, and background on grains, flour, and other ingredients. Afterward, you will shape the bread while learning different rolling techniques. Once you shape your bread and it happily rises and bakes in the oven, you will move onto the rudiments of making simple pizza dough. You’ll have the opportunity to make and top your own pizzas, gaining essential knife and cutting skills along the way. By the end, you will have your own loaf of hot sourdough bread and an oven fired pizza to boot. It will be delicious!

Regular ticket price (August 15 @ 12pm – November 5 @ 11:30pm): $65

NBCCD staff, faculty, and current students (including 2023 graduates) receive 20% off regular ticket sales while supplies last. Find the NBCCD Discount ticket below.

Additional material fee: $50 paid to the instructor on the day of the workshop
