Mosaic Suncatcher – Sheryl Crowley

May 18 @ 9:00 am - May 19 @ 4:00 pm

$164.00 – $205.00

2 -DAY WORKSHOP – May 18 and 19, 2024 | 9 am to 4 pm

Sunshine streaming through a riot of colour. A plain window becomes a place to pause and take a deep breath, watching the sparkle of cut-glass patterns.

In this workshop, we will create a framed glass mosaic that may be placed in a window. It will be a “glass on glass” technique. Using clear adhesive, the glass tiles will be attached to a glass sheet within a picture frame. You will have instructions on the “glass on glass” mosaic-making process and on how to safely and accurately cut glass tile. No mosaic-making experience is necessary. Tools and tiles supplied. Each participant needs to bring no larger than an 8”x 10” frame with its glass insert.

TICKET PRICING* & MATERIAL COST:

Regular ticket price (March 1, 12pm – May 5, 11:30pm): $205

Additional Instructions: Each participant needs to bring no larger than an 8”x 10” frame with its glass insert. Please bring safety glasses, apron and a mask (for safety when mixing grout).
