Gather together with makers of all levels to learn new skills and celebrate traditional crafts and regenerative living. Whether you're interested in half-day workshops or multi-week courses, there's something for everyone! Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, we offer hands-on experiences in a variety of subjects, all taught in either the beautiful studios at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD) or one of our partnering locations.

Dates: January 27, February 3, 10, 24, March 10 – 2025
Have a dress, apron or sewn bag you love? Want to learn to draft the pattern and sew another for yourself? Participants will combine sewing knowledge with basic pattern construction to replicate their favourite pieces, make small adjustments and make them their own. Or if you already have a sewing project you want to focus on but need a bit of guidance, your instructor Bianca Mozer is here to help!
Students are expected to have basic domestic sewing machine knowledge, including threading and straight stitching experience.
Bring your questions and have the support of the fashion designer Bianca, to guide you through your sewing projects. Come prepared to make mistakes, learn while you create and come away with a creation to be proud of! Students are welcome to bring their own machines if they would prefer.
TICKET PRICING & MATERIAL COST:
Regular ticket price (December 11, 12 pm): $250 + taxes (HST)

Additional material fee: The students are responsible for bringing their own fabric and necessary material for their personal projects. The craft paper and use of machines are included in the ticket price.
Additional instructions: Please bring a basic sewing kit, measure tape, paper and fabric scissors, ruler, pencil and eraser. All materials are available at the college store.

THE INSTRUCTOR:
Bianca Mozer is a Brazilian fashion designer, who worked for many years in Brazil making bride and gown dresses. In 2011 she finished the Fashion Design course in her hometown, Curitiba. Since then, she has been working in the fashion market and studying to improve her techniques. She moved to Canada to study in her area again, and is now working towards an additional path in fashion. She is also the coordinator of Honeybee Folk School and the George Fry Gallery.

FAQ
Refunds
If a request for a refund is submitted at least 14 days before the course begins, you will be eligible for a 94% refund. A 6% deduction will cover the administration costs and stripe service fee. For refund requests made between 8 and 13 days before the course begins, a 75% refund will be granted. If a refund request is received within 7 days or less before the course start date, a refund will not be issued unless we can fill your spot with another participant. In the event that a participant cannot attend an in-person course due to illness, they can receive a Honeybee voucher for 75% of the value of their course that can be paid towards another class in the future. The participant will need to notify the Honeybee Coordinator before the course begins.
Cancellations
If a workshop is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the instructor facilities or low enrolment, a 100% refund will be granted to registered participants. If class is cancelled due to weather, the course will be moved to the following weekend (unless otherwise specified). If you cannot attend the new scheduled time, you will be granted a 100% refund.
